What is an FIBC ?
FIBC stands for flexible intermediate bulk containers. They are commonly known as bulk bags or sometimes big bags. The packages are classified as an intermediate container because of their size, typically having filled weights between500 & 3000 pounds when filled with material. Obviously not small enough to be moved easily on hand, but also not large enough too classified as a full bulk container. Such as a truckload or railcar.
Use of FIBCs today permeates nearly all industries in which dry bulk solids are handled including food, chemicals, & even pharmaceuticals.
